This expression is used when someone continues to stare at something without ever averting their gaze and when their contemplation becomes prolonged and unbroken.
It perfectly captures the state of the viewer when encountering a powerful artwork: unable to look away, fully absorbed, gazing intently, diving deep into its details in search of its essence and the creativity it embodies.
I continue my dedicated exploration in the world of textiles, delving into their aesthetic dimensions, design, composition, and color. One motif in particular captivated me: the “Abu Tireh” pattern. Its striking presence inspired me to reimagine it not as a flat surface on fabric, but as a vivid, dimensional form. I brought it to life as a three-dimensional artwork using a variety of mediums such as aluminium, 3D printing, and photography.
This artwork highlights the beauty of the “Abu Tireh” motif, reintroducing it within the framework of contemporary art. It invites connections to popular culture and the visual identity of Emirati women,
